Happy Birthday to ME!

Yesterday was my birthday.. All week I would catch my kids whispering and giggling in corners.. All week, I knew they were hiding something from me for my birthday.
So, on Monday night before going to bed, Kaleb asked me if I got up before them , would I please stay in bed until they woke up.
I did.
Actually, I lazed around on the couch watching some netflix and browsing FB.
They woke up and they went into worker mode.
I KNEW they were making me a pancake..I could hear as much.. but, what I got was not what I had anticipated.....

I was brought this tray..with all of this yummy goodness!

I thought it was pretty great that, I didn't have a tray so they used my  old cookie sheet (which btw is the BEST COOKIE SHEET EVER... thanks mom!) ..

There was a glass of milk in my favorite plastic mason jar mug and four mini doughnuts representing each of them (how cute they thought of that).

The Pancake was the most impressive tho.. here is why.

The nose, was a heart candy saved from a Valentine party we had attended. It says I love you. It was saved especially for the nose!

The eyes are Oreos from a couple days before Valentines day. They saved those without me knowing for the eyes on the  pancake!

More heart candy was used for the mouth and one marshmallow cut in half as the cheeks!

It was also sprinkled with red and blue sugar. 

And , the inside ......

It was purple!!!

It is to date my FAVORITE  birthday present I have ever received. They were so thoughtful and made this with such love. They planned this and sacrificed some of their favorite things (cookies and candy) so that my pancake could be SUPER special. 

I wasn't able to eat the marshmallows or the candy hearts (they didn't mind. YUM) I also gave them the doughnuts which they were also excited about! 

I couldn't help but feel like the most special mom on the planet!!!!!

But, they weren't done! They had made me jewelry!!!

Anna got one of those loom kits for Christmas. She made me a blue bracelet with two shades of blue since blue is my favorite color!

They also made me this colorful bracelet. This was super sweet because they made this all of THEIR favorite colors! I have NO idea when they made this. I can't even think of a time they were all together not in site for them to make it but, they did .. and I love it!!!

Something else they did was cleaned up after I had fallen asleep (and I thought they were asleep) so everything was sparkling when I woke up. :) 

I had a pretty great day. I went to lunch with a friend and then my friend and I and our kids all hung out till the evening! Kaleb ended up with some sort of stomach bug and was sick all night but, aside from that, my day was perfect.

It is little things like a purple sprinkle smiley faced pancake and rubber band bracelets that REALLY show you how blessed you are! 

I am so thankful. I couldn't have asked for a better day!
