I mean, I take a lot of pictures but, at the end of the day I am tired and they don't make it to the blog.
I love going back and reading old posts and seeing old pictures. So, I want to make sure that I have as many memories to look back on as possible.
It is now new years day 2014.
This wasn't a typical New years. The kids and I had nice quiet night at home. Making new traditions and it was quiet nice.
We started the day with my brother, his wife and my beautiful baby niece coming over for a visit. We had pizza for lunch and enjoyed spending our time with them. We took a picture of her in her first pony tail. It was so cute (and pitiful) ... She makes my heart smile!
After they left we had more pizza and ate cake! Yummy cake that totally surprised my kids when they saw me buying the ingredients today at the grocery store!
We bought snacks! Two kinds of chips and dip!
Abigails baby doll came for some snacks
Then we prayed and drank our juice.
My friend took this screen shot of us chatting. I just think it is SO cool I could be with her for a little bit when she is 1000 miles away!
And just because it was cute. We have these little cots that were given to us. The kids love to lounge around on them all the time. Abigail calls hers her "Cotton". Today she curled up on her cotton and covered up her pony who, "was cold" and told me she was going to nap. She never did nap but she did lay around like this for a bit, with the chocolate on her nose and all ...
I am sure going to miss these days one day! So, for now I drink them up!
Abs has a sudden obsession with all things horse/pony. She even cries because she can't have a real one. She received SO many ponies and pony things for Christmas.. She loves them all but, she wants a REAL one. She doesn't get why we can't just get one and put it in the back yard. It is beyond a four year old kids comprehension I suppose.
I think for her birthday we will have to go and do something pony/horse related!
