365 days of grateful! Day 1 and 2

I saw this neat video on Fb. It was of a woman who was going through a kinda blah time in her life (paraphrasing here) and, she took the challenge to take a picture every day of something that she is thankful for.
What a great way to always be looking out for something to be grateful for.
Yesterday, on January 1'st,  I sat down with  my youngest  and we colored and worked on her sticker book. All the older kids were upstairs and busy and it was just us two.
I had a great time hanging out with her. We did all sorts of different activities together in this particular book. My favorite was this page. We had to color the horses, give them pretty manes and name them.
She named them all and only let me color one but, I enjoyed watching her color and she got a kick out of my horse.. made me smile.

I love the names she came up with. The top left is Abby. The rainbow one (the one I did) is Tina, the bottom left is Conthon (no clue) and the red one is Anna. She actually wrote hers and Annas name. She was so excited when she realized she could write Annas too!
She comes up with some silly names. One day I will list all of her stuffed animal and baby dolls names! Tho my favorite (Aside from her dog Measurement Jr.) is her doll Kristy. Made my day that she named her ballerina dolly  after me :)

Day 2

Today I was ill. I have this yucky tummy, achy, stuffy, bla bla bla. It is going around here like crazy.
I was laying here feeling pretty yuck when I heard the neighbor with the snow blower going by for his 5th time the last couple of days. I am so thankful for him and his snow blower and the fact that he does my walk and driveway! We have had so much snow the past couple of days and I haven't had to pick up a shovel!
Today I am thankful for this man, Leo.

It is officially day 3 but, it is only an hour in so I will put day 3 up at a later time!
I am sure I will miss some days, I can't even promise that at some point I might fall off the map with it (as I have done a billion times in challenges before) but, I am going to make an effort. Being grateful for the little things makes the sunshine that much brighter!
