I love nothing more than to come into a yummy smelling house. My husband shares that love and buys me lots of candles. I love it.
But, sometimes, a candle just can't give you that yummy smell you crave.
We had oranges, cinnamon (no sticks at the moment so I made do), apples, a pot and water.
So, I decided to start a simmer pot. I've done this for years but unfortunately, not yet for my husband! It smells like Christmas to me and it just fit my mood to make it.
He walked in and smiled so big. He needed to know what was cooking.
He raved about the smell and was so happy that I plan to look up more simmer pot recipes ... cheaper than candles ;) So win win for him!
This was taken as I was about to start a refreshed pot!
