Tonight we had my in-laws over for dinner.
 It was a nice evening visiting and eating tacos.. and, let's not forget the pecan pie.
 We had a great time. My husband was his usual goofy self and we had a Good time joking around.
 As the evening went on I took a few pics, as I do in all events in our lives. Regardless of how big or small . Tonight it was just tacos.. but I never want to forget the night the kids drew on each other's faces. Or, when they met Memaws new puppy for the first time.

Btw, her name is Molly Grace and I offered Memaw a couple kids for the pup... no go! 😉

Anyway, I snapped a selfie (OR is it usie?) Of my husband and I before I ran him off to bed. 

As I was looking over the pictures I obviously came across  our picture.. at first glance, ew.  My initial thought was that no one would ever see this picture. It is a horrible picture of both of us, mostly me. But, then, I saw my husband's eyes. 

They are that of a tired man. After working hard for 10 hours on little sleep, he's smiling. Not a fake smile for the camera. But, a genuine happy to be with his family smile . And  tomorrow, on Saturday,   he gets up at 3:30am to do it again. 

He works hard for our family and not just at his job. He works hard to make sure that all 7 of us get a little of him every day. Even dog tired. I didn't even realize how tired he was till I viewed this pic. I mean, I know he works HARD.  I know he sometimes gets less sleep then he should. But, I don't always see it in his eyes. I don't always see them past his smile !! 

I'm so thankful for him. For his tired eyes and genuine smile. For the fact he will do what it takes for his family. He takes care of our needs, whatever they may be. And,  kindly gives us our wants too as he can!
