The Summer is FLYING by!

It's already the end of July. It always seems after the 4th... the summer just ends. Reality is, we have a lot more summer left.. All of August and often , into October we have beautiful weather.

Seems like so much has happened since my last post! 

Of coarse we had my brothers wedding which, was an amazing day.They had beautiful weather and everything came together for the PERFECT day.

The kids did great and had so much fun ... as did I.

We celebrated Kaleb and Abby's birthday with family on the 4th. Just some cupcakes and a pinata, fireworks  and sky lanterns... They had a great time

Anna had been growing her hair out to donate to Locks of Love. She has done this two other times now and I think it is so great that she has such a tender heart for little girls who can not have long beautiful hair! Her hair grows so fast, she is so blessed and I think it is so great she wants to share that blessing. She got 12 inches cut off and honestly , at first I gasped as it seemed SO short but...now I do love it (tho I am looking forward to it growing out again). She said next time, she is going to let her hair grow down to her bottom before she cuts it again. She says that is even MORE little girls who can have hair! Go HERE to see little girls who have already received donated hair. Makes me less sad about my little girls hair that will grow back. Bless these beautiful little girls heart. They are just as beautiful without hair!

Our boys also that same week (that Anna cut her hair) had their end of the year picnic for scouts which they got to fly in a plane with the Young Eagles. They had such an amazing time and loved it SO much. I am so thankful they had that opportunity 

AND that SAME week.. we had VBS at church. (shew I am tired just typing it all out LOL)

After that busy week... we all got head colds. No fevers or anything but stuffy heads and sore throats and general yuckies.  We are on the mend now. We received our easy set up pool yesterday and are patiently waiting for Saturday when we can get it set up and make use of it!

In the meantime I am gathering my stuff for school.. slowly but surely and we are enjoying our time off tho, the kids are VERY eager to start.. asking daily. 

We got our basement nearly finished and when we can get some carpet or an area rug down there... we will be mostly ready for school! Before and after pics of that coming soon!
