Celebrations!

The next week and a half  will be FULL of celebrating.

We have 2 birthadays, the 4th of July and also... a wedding!!!!

We will kick off the festivities tomorrow by celebrating the birth of my 3rd child and 2nd son.. Kaleb.

He will be 6. I am so blessed to have had him for six entire years. He is so funny, clever and he is also my button pusher! But, he loves his momma! And will take any opportunity to cuddle up and give me some lovin.
He starts 1st grade in the fall.. and he is so smart when it comes to all things electronic (making things work and figuring out how they work)

We then , a few days later we will enjoy the 4th of July. It is, and always will be one of my favorite holidays ever! It is such a great time. Not only for what it means but for what we do. I enjoy the BBQing with family or friends. That day we will have some cake and ice cream for both Kaleb and Abigail.

a few short days after that .. on the same day, we will celebrate the wedding of my only sibling and great friend Shane... and also my Abigails birthday!

Abby will be 3. She will be spend her birthday as a princess! She is the flower girl in my brothers wedding. Big fluffy white dress... 200 plus people and cake! She doesn't yet grasp what a birthday is .. She knows it is coming but, I am not sure how much she "Gets"
She is so beautiful. Coarse I am biased ... her big blue eyes melt my heart and her smile is one of the four most beautiful things I have ever seen (the other three being my other childrens smiles )
She is funny.. makes funny faces ... says funny "jokes". She has her own version of what a joke is but, the fact that she makes herself laugh so hard ... you can't help but laugh yourself.

The wedding is much anticipated. My brother and I are about 10.5 months a part. We have always been close (despite our bickering as children). Shane was always my "little big brother" as even tho he is younger then me, he was always almost a foot taller and seemingly wiser.
I was always making the typical stupid teenage mistakes but he always was level headed and smart about things.
I was sad to leave him when I got married nearly 10 years ago. And in these  ten years I have watched him as he matured as an uncle , as a son, a brother and a soon to be husband.
I am honored that he has asked me and my four children to be such a huge part of his big day.
I am extremely excited and can not wait to see him say "I do". AND , I really really can't  wait for nieces and nephews.
