I need a blog roll of some sort.. anyone have any suggestions.
I never seen the need for one before, I would simply go to each persons blog and check it out every so often... well I have found two problems with this..
1. I am always checking and finding the same posts (and became REALLY embarrased when I realized that people have one of those trackers, so they know how often I am stalking their blog and when I leave.... eek)
2. I miss posts sometimes.. If I dont go and check because I feel like "eh I just checked yesterday and they hadnt updated" I will find that person updated 3 times or something crazy like that...
Anyways... anyone know a blogroll for DUMMIES? :D

You can either add a gadget on your sidebar that updates when someone else posts on their blog.
Or you can get Google Reader or Bloglines. I prefer Google Reader ;), but still have both. Google Reader if you start to read them then shut it down, and then go back later they are still highlighted and you can finish where you left off.
I do find I don't often go to people's actual blog to respond though so that is one drawback.

I was going to tell you about Google Reader, too. It's a HUGE time saver. You use it to "subscribe" to the blogs and things that you want to keep up with. You can even subscribe to Flickr sites (I see pictures that my brother uploads when he uploads them). If I want to comment -- like I did when reading your post -- I click on the double arrow by the title and it opens that post in a brand new tab.
If it wasn't for Google Reader, I wouldn't be reading very many blogs!

On your dashboard, you can add the sites to follow. When you sign in to your dashboard, the sites that have been updated will come up at the bottom of the screen. 8-)
