HEY THERE!

Hey its me, I have sat down a BILLION times to blog but, I always seem distracted... it could be my three little ones running around, or it could be the cold in this basement... either way, I have been a bad friend.
In my bible reading today, I stumbled across a couple verses that I found to be helpful to me in this time. We are having our 4th baby and my husband was let go from his job... I dont work to stay home with the kids.. and while, I dont usually dwell on things such as "how will we pay for this, or that" With all the people all over our lives dwelling on it constantly and bringing it to our attention, its human nature to think on those types of things at times.
I wish I could print these words out and give them to ALL that walk around so NEGATIVE about this little blessing we are having and say READ THIS... and I would, if I thought it would do an OUNCE of good... Why cant everyone see it as clearly as me? :P
anyways these passages came out of Matthew chapter 6... good reminder and just what I needed!

25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

I just have to say that I totally agree with you on this Kristy. Thanks for the reminder as well to me because sometimes I worry on my own without anyone making me feel negative. Baby #4 is going to be a blessing and I for one can't wait to meet this new little person! I am so happy for you! Love Kristen

I'll be praying that your Husband is not out of work long.

That was a really good post and I'm happy to see you find comfort in Gods word.

Keep your chin up and trust in God.

I really needed that reminder. My husband's job has fallen through and we are trying to raise support to back to Montana. Yep, I was one to ask,"How?" But now I know that I need to continue praying. Thanks!

Those are wonderful verses and verses that helped me when Bruce was without a job for eight months, from March to November of 2007. I never mentioned on my blog, but maybe once, and we never really came out and told anyone. Very few people knew. But I held on to those verses you shared for dear life. And I saw first hand how God supplied and supplied and blessed and blessed, over and over again. I have no doubt He will do the same for you! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills! Our problems are no problems for Him.
