feeling Yucky

I took a day off... well half a day at least....
I have felt awful today... I have a sore throat, achey, feverish.. the whole nine yards. BLECH.
This morning I did some much needed grocery shopping. we went to two stores and when we got back, I did something I NEVER do and I asked my husband to please feed the kids lunch so that I could lay down...
I layed around all afternoon while my husband stayed out back with the kids... then, I decided I felt better and took a ride over to my sister in laws house to drop something off.. I didnt go in, I just wanted some fresh air.
When I got back I went to my moms house who had asked us to come over for some chicken noodle soup.. funny she was making it on the day that I felt awful, and she called to ask us over... It was so nice not to have to cook and clean... I did help clean but not as much as I normally do.. by the end of our visit, I wasnt feeling well AT ALL....
I had ran up to CVS with my son to ask the pharmacy what type of over the counter drops I could get for my poor boy ... his eyes water and itch and he rubs them RAW... but with no other sypmptoms I really would rather refrain from giving him some allergy meds ...... I certianly wouldnt take an antihistamine for just some watery eyes, I am not going to dope up my son for them... the pharmacy actually said "its almost bed time anways, why not?" grrrrr So I am going to get a script from his Dr.. I know what he needs... tho I do forget the name at the moment.. and its NOT a antihistamine!!!
Anyways that trip did me in.. I went back to my moms to get my other two and I was all flushed.. it was time to go, I took some tylenol and I feel a smidge better.. I got tired of watching Obama during the debates so I came here so my husband could finish...
well I should go gargle and get some hot tea and retire... I pray I am better by tomorrow.
