Anna's Birthday

So, Anna had a great day and I enjoyed celebrating with her.
First, we started off with a mommy and daughter night of movies. We stayed up late and watched cheesy stuff. We also did some painting and some pastels.
Prince joined us. I loved how they were laying together. He was asleep until he heard the camera ... he sleeps with his tongue out.. in fact, he does most things with his tongue out! lol

After that we went to Tim Hortons (per Anna's request) for breakfast.

I brought a candle for her birthday doughnut but we had no lighter.... (more on that later)

Her siblings were SO excited that she chose Tim Hortons. I LOVE all of the doughnut faces. I cracked up when I downloaded them.

We didn't have a lighter so we sang Happy Birthday to Anna without a lit candle. Soon after that, the manager of the  Tim Hortons came out with a lighter and a muffin for her so that we could sing with a lit candle. It was super nice of him.
**Oh also in the picture , Anna is eating Timbits that the cashier gave her as a bonus for her birthday!**

After that she opened presents

Then the kids all posed for pictures.

Here they are posing with their Lightsabers.
Anna didn't have one (hers was lost a year or so ago) so, the boys gave her one of theirs at Tim Hortons for her birthday. What guys!
So, alas, a lightsaber pic!

After breakfast we went to our friends house to pick up her and her daughter.
We went and did a little shopping and then, out for lunch.
Anna decided on going to a restaurant that my work has just opened up. I don't work there per say (I do cater events there , but I don't work in the restaurant)
But, she wanted to go and I wanted to go because I know the chef and I knew it would be DELISH. And, I would rather my boss have my money than anyone else right?
So, anyway... we went.
The food was AMAZING.
Here is Anna with her big burger adorned with onion rings!

and my lunch.. a Reuben (yes folks, those ARE homemade potato chips)

Anna and Courtney are just too cute for words!

The chef came out to say hi and wish Anna and happy birthday. He was the chef at the catering company when I started there and just left a few weeks ago when the restaurant opened.
He came out and handed Anna five dollars and told her to get some ice cream because, the restaurant didn't have any. That was SO nice of him~
She was super excited!

After lunch and shopping we went back to my friend Jamie's house to do nails. Now, originally Anna wanted to do Mani/pedis but, when she found out Mrs. Jamie had a ton of nail stuff, she got WAY more excited to go there. And, when I say Mrs. Jamie has a ton of nail stuff... I am under-exaggerating!

Anna picked out her color, her gems and Jamie and I went to work pampering our girls!

And then, as our final bit of excitement.. we did hair chalk in the girls hair. They loved having fun colored hair for a few hours.

She had a great day. After all of this she went to her grandparents where they had cake for her. She had dinner with all of her cousins and some aunts and uncles.
She was so happy at the end of the day ..
I am so happy for my 11 years with my beautiful girl.
I love her so much!
