Dinner tonight....

I don't know about you but, I get sick of the same old same old when it comes to dinner.. I am also tired of the high cost of food making it very hard to be adventurous when it comes to cooking. The internet is awesome for finding inexpensive cool foods to eat.

Anyway... I had been looking for new and different inexpensive meals... AND let me not forget to mention EASY meals.. I am not a recipe follower. I like to be able to look at a recipe and then make it.. I don't want to have to keep looking back on computer or the recipe card.. I am also not one to measure out things. I eyeball and guesstimate ... that is just me :)

SO, bla bla bla always looking for new recipes .. you got it.
I had seen some different variations of this particular recipe and so, I decided to combine some from each of the recipes I had seen and I made this.....

First I took my chicken breast and cut them in half

this is when I took my cream cheese and cheddar cheese and combined them. I would recommend room temp cream cheese ... unless you have these which, I did because they were SUPER cheap at the grocery store. They are waaaay yummier then other cream cheeses so when they are cheaper then the off brand stuff.. I buy it.. who wouldn't?

So yah, I mixed the cream cheese and cheddar.. some salt and seasoning.. looked like this

Then I crammed it into the chicken halves

and then, I added BACON.. cause, what isn't better with bacon??

he end result... something like this.. (I took this after I had already cut it but you get the point)

Kids loved it and my husband said
"this is stinking awesome"
:)

Edited to add (duh)..
Bakes at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes or until Chicken is cooked through :)
