Happy Thanksgiving!

I am making this post a day early due to the fact that I will be extra busy tomorrow with my family so, I will not be posting :)

I am actually looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. Since Marriage, I havent been to fond of the holiday, nor Easter.. ok, maybe I should explain. I love the holidays themselves and what they mean but, the whole rushing around thing tends to wear on ya, especially as I keep adding kids to the mix.

Usually on Thanksgiving, we go to Js parents, eat, I help clean and then its put the coats and shoes on and off to MY moms for dessert. We usually Stay there about an hour and then home we go. There is no resting, visiting with family.. just rush rush rush... not to mention that while my mother in law makes a great meal, its not my moms home cooking that I grew up on, and I an ALWAYS sad that I miss it every year.

This year however, my brother had to work *he works in retail* on THanksgiving and since we go to my inlaws my mom was going to cancel THanksgiving all together and just go out to eat with her husband... since then however, plans have been made to have THanksgiving on Friday.. this means, NO rushing on THanksgiving, and I still get to eat my moms home cookin! So tomorrow, we will be with Jasons family for the day, then we will come home to a nice relaxing evening.. Jason is going hunting on Friday and the kids and I are going to head to my moms... YAY...

SO, I am very much looking forward to teh festivities that start bright and early tomorrow morning... we have dinner at my inlaws at 1. So, I need to get my food there earlier so it can heat up before then, my goal is to leave the house by 11:30.

We are so excited about this Thanksgivng as, well, Abby is here this year. We are so excited to have four amazing kids to share our holidays with.. we have SO much to be thankful for at this time.. always really.. but its during this time, when I know that there are those out there alone, without familys to share their day with that I realize how truely blessed we all are.. SO many people to love us... So many family and friends... well church friends who are more like family.

Its like the words in that song "I have been Blessed" it says .... If the pen of the writer could write everyday.. even this world could never contain how I have been blessed~!
