WOW 4 weeks

It has really flown by, I cant believe that my baby girl is already 4 WEEKs!
we really have enjoyed having her home the past two weeks.. she has brought so much joy into our hearts.
she is such a GOOD baby... I mean hardly ever cries... sleeps great at night... I am so thankful.
she did give us a scare tho, she started to loose some weight again and they threatened hospitalization again but, God is good and she started eating and gaining weight.. she is nearly birth weight now.
My older kids adjusted better to having her here then I did... My only issue with them is.. keeping htem away from her.. "get out of her face" "let her sleep" "no you can NOT hold her" "No, I dont need another diaper right now" ect ect.... but, its all sweet... its just CONSTANT... I will take it tho, over the horror stories I have heard in the past about siblings fighting, and resenting the new baby.... its all very nice, just gets a little... I dont know the right word but those of you with kids probably know exactly what I am talking about.
I did have a week or so of anxiety and a little bit of the blues.. I think that it all came from the back and forth to the hospital, my husband working afternoons and my just not feeling well.. it all just piled up.. but God is merciful and I am feeling very much back to my old self again. I am even cleaning and cooking... Look at me GO! ha ha.
It was hard to get back into the swing of things at first ... I was consumed by her at first and then my other kids needs, my husbands needs and sometimes showering or eating myself... but, I have got it down now, I now know how to juggle it all better, not 100% but better at least. My husband is getting fed before work and getting a lunch for work... my kids are getting bathed and dressed and I am getting to shower more frequently... yahoo :P
Well I wanted to check in... I am visiting everyones blogs even if I dont have the time to comment.. I will soon be back into the bloggy world I am sure.... as things settle and we get our groove back completly.. coarse, by then, it will be time to start school again :)

I leave you with pictures.. the first is her cake from her "Meet and Greet " at church. My Pastors daughter makes all the cakes and she did an EXCELLENT job... she usually tries to make the cake personal.. for me, I LOVE butterflies and Abbys room is done in butterflies and also, pink and purple... :P so this cake is perfect. The other one is just one I captured of her laying out on the grass. I thought it was sweet, tho my husband says it doenst look like her :D

Maybe Abigail will be like Lydia was when she was little: tiny. When Lydia was 1 she was still wearing 6 months size clothes. But that's all changed now though. She's not fat, but she can out eat my 6 and 4 year old boys!

I can also relate to the "too much help" with the older ones. The boys were like that with Lydia. Even today they can't keep their hands off my belly.

You said you're feeling very much back to your old self again. I cannot wait until I feel like myself again. :-) 18 days and counting til my due date.

Kristy, what a gorgeous pic of the baby. I'm glad to see you are getting back into the swing of things...or should I say, adjusting to the "new normal". Hang in there, and remember that the most urgent thing right now isn't laundry or baths (they'll be waiting for you!), but enjoying those fleeting newborn days.
