We took off for the day on Saturday and took a ride to one of our "Great Lakes" our first stop was a little Coney Island... a rare treat and a FUN time.
After eating, we headed over to a Ferry that takes you across the Lake to an island... here the kids did one of their FAVORITE things.. threw rocks in the water... we also enjoyed BEAUTIFUL scenery.

and we thought it fitting for Memorial Weekend!
These were taken on this beautiful boardwalk ... here were were able to sit and enjoy the view on beautiful benches and watch Frieghters... or, fritters as my kids call them.. it was most enjoyable.
Then, On monday our church walked in a parade and passed out 4000 tracts! and here is little MISS AMERICA... could she be more patriotic?? lol
