One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Today we spent the majority of the day outdoors.. I had a filthy yard to clean up and a couple of sick kids so, I was forced to slow down today and do what I had to do.
It was a simply beautiful day, tho a little hot for this pretty pregnant mamma....
I got alot accomplished and it was time to head in for baths.
After baths it was time for a snack. As I was preparing the snack I realized we had a little day light left to savor.
So, I packed up the snack and we headed clean bare feet and all outside .
After snack I wasnt ready to retire into the hot box I call my home :P and asked the kids what they thought of doing our reading outside... They of coarse jumped for joy and Anna headed in to grab our stuff..
We read our devotional and after that memorized the childrens verse for Sunday school and then read a couple Psalms before the daylight escaped us.
I have to say, it was a beautiful way to spend an evening... Soaking in all of Gods beautiful creations with my three favorite little people in the world!
Lately life has been "hard" as J's new job has him gone almost ALL of the time. Our time apart is really wearing on the both of us... I have had a couple of feel sorry for myself moments here lately and then there is tonight... How can I feel badly about my cirrcumstances when I have all of THIS....
Yah tonight was needed and I am looking forward to doing it again really soon.. as long as weather permits, tomorrow.
The Lord is good, and gives us exactly what we need. I needed tonight to get out of my spoiled brat mood.
