SPRING? IS THAT YOU?

Oh today was an absolute beautiful day. Too bad I felt yucky.
But, the sun was shining, it was warm and all that yucky white stuff that has become so filthy from over a month on the ground is slowly melting away.
I wish I had the energy to go out and take a walk or something.. its too nice to be couped in. Winter will definatly be tolerable if it stayed like this.. the below zero temps were too bitter for my liking. 45 I can handle :D
I didnt get outside today but my kids did. My dh was outside working in his garage so he allowed the kids to go out and get some energy burned.. Two of my three are also sick, one with the croupe and ya know they say the cool air is the best thing for it.. so, out they went. They werent out long since they are feeling yucky but, they did get to ride their scooters and such and they were just estatic when they came in to let out some of that energy.
Our goal/plan was to have our basement finished before winter so that they had a place to run and play more freely.. this hasnt happened yet.. well at least not completly. My husband did build a wall and painted the entire thing but, he is unsure how to lay the carpet... I cant wait, that will be SO nice .
After the carpet is layed we will spend alot more time down here.. I will even bring some of their smaller riding type toys down here so they wont feel so restricted...
I got my desk down here and so are the childrens and on Monday, carpet or not, we will be doing our school down here instead. SO much nicer then at the kitchen table. Its too distracting for Poor Anna .. I think this will be more "school" like and keep her more focused.
Well I am off to clean up supper dishes... I made a yummy chicken greek salad tonight.. I had been craving one and my youngest had been asking for salad so, there ya have it :P
