I am not ready to give up my McCain pictures.. I am not ready to say that Obama is now our president.
I have accepted it, after weeping for our country for a good long while last night. It felt like a bad dream at first, I thought the Media was just hyping it up... but soon, I saw John McCain come out and give his humble loosing speech. I could just see in his eyes the hurt he had. I think that after serving our country in the armed forces, being held captive.. that America could have at LEAST given him the chance to serve as our president... He deserved that much.. but, what do I know, I am just some insane , conservitive, homescooling, church going, Bible believing, God fearing, Christian..... and after last night, I think its obvious that we are a dying breed!
I will respect Obama as our president, and teach my children to do so, as I believe that is whats right, but, I dont have to like it.
The Lord is in control, I have to keep reminding myself. Obama doesnt have some magic wand that he can point and what he says is so~ Its a comfort.. tho, I am still sad. Not as sad that he is our president as much as I am sad that America was dooped by him and that America has ran so far away from the Lord... as obvious by the wipe out last night.... it wasnt even close to close... I think that saddened me the most!

Aww, Kristy, I know how you feel. It makes me sick and mad and sad. But, it also makes me realize that we have slacked off trying to win people to Jesus during Bush's terms. We need to get back to winning folks to Christ...surely we'll be leaving here soon. I hope!

I am so disappointed in the people of our great country. Do they not even know what all he stands for? Or doesn't stand for would probably say it better.
Just pray sister! Pray that God will soften his heart and save him.

Hi, I am new to your blog, I found it through Tracy. But I wanted to let you know that I am so with you on this post. I feel like you tapped into my mind on that one. But like you said we need to respect him. And then we need to pray hard for our future.
