we went up north and stayed at my dads... We had a great time...
I dont know what it is about being up north that just relaxes you from the inside out. I mean, we didnt do much up there that we dont do here (except fishing) yet, it was sooo much more relaxing.
We did go fishing on our boat. the kids enjoy this VERY much and for my first time ever I can say I LOVED it... coarse, it helped that my SWEET dh baited my hook and took off all my fish.. but, we were catching them as soon as we were putting them out there. It was FUN....
The kids just played outside as hard as they could... its nice being up there , they can RUN AND RUN AND RUN.. not to mention the TOYS my dad has.. three wheelers, oddessy.... the kids are in constant motion (with an adult of coarse).
It was quite sad to come back to "reality' today, especially for my Dh who has to go out and work on such a HOT day....
I wish we could go North more often... coarse.. probably wouldnt be as special if we did....
