well I didnt really "win" but I got 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the Fair !!!!! I havent been up there to see the rest of my stuff but, I am excited about the 3 pictures that I do knw about ..
I will post the "winners" later but for now, I just wanted to share my excitement.
In may, my husband bought me the Nikon that I had dreamed up with the understanding that I would in fact try and make money off of it. He wasnt about to let me have a 700 dollar camera for "fun" , I agreed .. However, since getting the camera, I have had buyers "remorse" so to speak because I always feel I am not good enough to charge people for my work... so, therefore I havent had a paying customer yet....
Placing in the fair really did boost my moral! I needed it... out of all the pictures submitted mine placed... I know , its only second place... but to me... its a HUGE deal... I mean second is next to first right? LOL
anways I am thankful for it.. it gave me a boost that I needed to take my "skillz" and passions further.
Hope you are all having the best summer, we sure are, I am sure when the cooler months hit I will be updating even more.. but for now I will continue to be off and on since we are enjoying our last days till the snow comes a callin..... :P

Congratulations! It is a VERY big deal. We entered pictures last year and I had no idea the HUNDREDS of photos that would be entered. You did good, girl! I can't wait to see what you entered.
I have one I'll be entering this year. I don't look to place, but I love the picture. I'll post it after our fair next month. And Hannah is entering an ooey-gooey chocolate pound cake (her grandmother's recipe.) She's excited about that.
