HEY Remember me??

I feel like I have been away yet, I have remained right here... just the usual stuff going on yet, I find it hard to get on the computer these days.
I guess Ill give a little review of our life... why not.

Ill start with Wed. We had the kids last Tball game.. While getting ready I started getting a headache so I immediatly popped two motrin.... soon after arriving to the game I realized that the motrin wasnt going to "kick in" so I asked my mother in law for two tylenol.... after the game I took my kids to my moms to get them dressed for church when I realized that I wasnt doing anything more then going home and going to bed. I let my mom feed my kids and off I went to lay down... it wasnt until 12:30 am that I felt better tho.... 4 motrin, two tylenol, a half a coke, some protien, and my wonderful kids playing wiht my hair.. it finally went away.. I was ever so thankful.
Then Thursday is one of my husbands days off... we ALWAYS go to his parents on this day. we visit and always have a good time visiting... well around 1 pm I recieved a phone call from my friend who told me that her and another friend were going out to lunch and shopping (kidLESS) and asked me if I wanted to join. I asked my husband and he agreed that I could go and so, I was picked up and wisked away.
we had a wonderful time of fellowship.. we ate, we laughed, we shopped and laugh, and laugh and laughed... well you get the point ;P
I was finally dropped off about 9 to my inlaws where my kids were freshly bathed (extra bonus) and ready for bed... we came home and the kids transitioned right to there beds... it was a fun day....
The next day was Friday and we were hosting this months Play date. I decided to do something a bit different and throw a show and tell and ALSO do tye dyed shirts.... it was fun. the kids had a fun time creating shirts and I was so busy helping everyone wiht there shirts that when my poor sweet girl started yelling and crying wiht a bloody hand I just sent her in to wash it.. when she returned however, I realized SOMETHING wasnt quite right with it.. her hand had double in size (basically her pointer finger) and her fingertip was turning purple. My daughter who NEVER cries when she hurts herself was whimpering and begging me not to touch her hand so me and my friend put her in the car and rushed her to the E.R.
I knew that something was wrong with her hand when the Dr didnt even try and move it to "see" if it was broken, He sent her Immediatly to get an x ray where it confirmed that her finger was broken... but not broken side to side.. but long ways, middle knuckle to hand.. the entire length... because of her age and the nature of the break, she has to now go see an orthopedic surgen and see what he wishes to do to it.. for now, its so swollen that they splint it and left it to the O.P all for a broken finger.. I honestly almost didnt bring her because I thought "well if it is broke they will only splint it, and I can do that" Glad I did... mothers instinct I suppose..
Anyways she is in a "cast" as she calls it which is really a splint and an ace bandage... we dyed the ace bandage pink and she thinks its the neatest thing she has ever seen.
Today she became a bit overwhelmed when a few of her friends brought her cards and my Pastors wife brought her a My little pony scrap book .. she felt very loved but very shy ... she is so thankful and wont stop saying how nice it was of everyone...
after leaving the hospital her daddy who was just sad about his little girl being hurt.. told us to meet him and my friends husband (and our other kids) at Chucky cheeses... he wanted to take his little girl out after her ordeal.. we had a great time and then came back to my house and had pizza and tye dyed some more since, well I never got to finish.
Saturday we didnt do ANYthing.. we lazed around, went outside abit but basically had a Chill day..
Today was SUnday and besides church we did next to nothing... we all relaxed as a family and had a wonderful time doing so!
I will be working extra hard tomorrow to make up for my days "off" but It was well worth it~
Hope you are all having a great Summer! I know we are definatly enjoying ourselves!

Lunch and shopping, kidless with friends, is ALWAYS a recipe for LOTS of laughter. Glad you had a great day.

I am so sorry to hear about your little girl's finger. That's so sad. Bless her heart. I hope she heals quickly. How did she do it? Do you know?

Yes ,
She was playing with some boys from our church and they were all playing wtih some of my big garden rocks. She had her finger on one while another kid was putting a rock on that same one... sure enough her hand was sandwhiched.. Kids ... LOL
