Break In update!

It went smooth, The police opted not to come but did put our info on file in case a neighbor saw us.
My husband and father in law knocked on the neighbors doors and let them know what was going on and then it was time for the window.
We had an audience... My brother and sister in law and there four kids came to witness the affiar.
I got no pictures since my husband didnt want me to take pictures of him (he hates his picture being taken).
Soon the door was open... Ironic thing???? When he went to unlock the front door, IT WAS UNLOCKED... oh well, we had the drama of it all anyways.
Soon my brother in law and sister in law left and we had two couples from church stop by. They wanted to witness the break in but alas it was over.
As my inlaws were leaving we seen them talking to a neighbor across the street... we decided to walk over and introduce ourselves to her. As I approached tho, I realized I KNEW HER... and I have known her my ENtire life.. in fact... she always loved my name so much when I was a kid.. she named her Daughter Kristy too!
"KELLY??"
"KRISTY!!!!!" (insert hug here)

We chatted for awhile and she told us where she thought Ed (the older gentlemen that no one could get ahold of ) was.
My inlaws left in search of Ed.
we stayed and did some cleaning and what not and then, we got a phone call... THEY FOUND ED. that was a huge relief as we were so sad to think that the move might have killed him. See he is the original owner of this home, He didnt want to leave his home.. His wife passed away about 10 years ago and he was set on staying independant. But it got to a place he could NOT get around on his own. SO he went to an assisted living facility. He did NOT get along with his son and he lives out of state anyways.. it was just sad..
So anyways After Ed left the home he went to one facility that kicked him out cause he couldnt walk enough... (??) and then he ended up in the hospital and from there went to a NEW place that according to my father in law is NOT a nice place..
We plan to visit Ed... he is a dear sweet man.
ANyways... he apologized PROFUSELY... he thought we were in the house thhis ENTIRE time!!!!! and with all the moves and ho spital and all that jazz.. he didnt think to call (and who would).
SO, anwayys we are in... when he was moving because he lacked help, we told him to leave what he wanted and we would take care of it for him...
And leave he did.. but a bunch of really handy stuff, a pantry full of food, a cabinet FULL of fabric softener (downy) and I never use fabric softner cause its an added expense.. better believe I will now.
An OLD antique washer.. justr a TON of stuff.... all the stuff for the yard, potting soils ect ect.... he left alot.. some we are definatly NOT keeping... but some will be REALLY handy~!
Anyways th at is our update as long winded as it is...
We got a room and a half painted last night (we started at 9) and we intend to do some more painting tonight. My husband wants to get our rooms done now, so that we can move our bed rooms over here! YAY
