We bought a house today!!!!!! No, its not the one that we originally were praying about..
Funny how it worked out. We fell in love with the first house... we thought because of the peace that we had that it was meant to be OUR house. We were told to forget the house yet we still put in our bid... Every day all day we prayed that we would hear an answer on the house... A week went by , still no word..
this brings us to today. Today was just to "look" in our hearts we were still wanting the other house. We got to our last house and we walked in.. It was the cutest old man.. He was hard of hearing and couldnt walk... He was selling his home to go into an assistant living home.
We walked through and he asked my father in law what the sales sheet said the price of the house was. My father in law told him and he said "If they are interested, I will give it to them for .... " the price was 5 thousand less... we NEVER even discussed price with him.. He just brought it up on his own.
We looked around further and he then told my father in law that he would come down yet ANOTHER two thousand... again without us even mentioning price.
this house was SO clean and so well kept... It didnt have the "things' we had thought we needed, that were in the other house... but it had alot more. My favorite part is.. that it backs right up to a park and we can walk right into a park from our back yard!............ HOW GREAT is that? it is also move in ready, No work to be done by my husband who works so hard as it as it at work and doesnt need/want to come home and do more.....
So,we prayed and we talked it over at lunch and we decided we would make an offer.. We did... and within TWO hours the offer was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit that part of me was mildly disappointed.. And then I realized that, God hadnt answered our prayer for a reason... Perhaps there was something majorly wrong with that house that we could not see... Now I am grateful. Its all in HIS timing and his will NOT ours....
So, we will be moving the first of June into this....

Yes Kristen its still close! I am glad about that! :P
Rejoicing with y'all!
I love how the Lord gives us what He knows we need, not just what we think we want. ;o)
Praying as y'all prepare to move.
Oh... I, uh, still haven't mailed those papers out. They are, however, in the envelope and ready to go. I don't know what it is about actually getting to the post office. But I will aim to mail them Monday or Tuesday. They are addressed to your husband from my husband. I hope he/y'all are able to use them.
Hope y'all enjoy your weekend.
