Ahhh the sun

Deuteronomy 33:14
And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun , and for the precious things put forth by the moon,

Today was a blessing to say the least. I have to say that often on Saturdays I have to check my attitude upon awaking. They are the longest and most dreaded day of my week. My dh works every Saturday but, no one elses husbands do. Parties and special functions happen to fall on Saturdays and I am always sad about it..

At anyrate, I do have my husband home THREE entire days out of a week so, again, I check my attitude at the bedroom door (most times) and I press on.. I am lucky, but with the winter seemingly here to stay I had been finding it harder to have the cheery attitude I should.

Today however was an exception.

Today, I was able to get up and take the kids to the local library and see a baby lamb... Each spring a local farm brings a newborn lamb and each fall they bring a new born pig to our Library.

It was a nice time. The kids had the BEST time and the local photorapher took my kids pictures asking there names to be published... (if they will or not will remain to be seen since she took others pictures as well but it was still nice)

After we walked out of the library I decided that we had to take advantage of the day... 2 days ago it snowed like 4 inches (I cant be certain of the exact inches but it was TOO much Imo :P)

Anways and today it was sunny and warmer... I got the kids in there scrapiest clothes and we went outside for a good while...

I was able to soak up the sun while reading a book and enjoy the good the sun has to offer. I have needed some sunshine for quite a while now. And today I was blessed with it. At times it seemed the sun was almost too hot on my jean skirted legs! (but not REALLY :P) Nothing more peaceful then reading a book outdoors and childrens laughter in the background...

I am thankful that the Lord gave me today, I needed it for sure and for certian.

I love sunny days. We have had really good weather with the sun bright and a cool breeze. Needless to say we have not done "much" school lol :)

We had a few beautiful, sunny days last week, and I enjoyed sitting out in it with a good book and got my jean skirted shins burnt! Oh well, maybe they won't peel! :)

Thank you for visiting yesterday and for your sweet words. :)
